How Solar Works

The sun hits your solar panel system to create electricity. The electricity created from your solar panels is DC power. Most all of the power in your home runs off of AC power, so we install micro inverters under each panel to switch the power from DC to AC. When your solar power systems produces more power than your home uses, it is sent to the electric grid saving up a bank of credits in the form of Kilowatt hours for you to use at a later date. Also, an added benefit of being connected to the electric grid is when your solar panels are not producing as much power at night or on a cloudy day there is a back up supply of power from the utility grid to ensure you have power when you need it.
